thanks!
thanks yu 3L! hoho today was the first time in my life in rj that i actually felt love for my class. ok i'm v sorry but i'm being honest. haha. newae we are like boring pple who keep quiet and clam up during lessons and clam up when we talk to each other. which kinda affected my personality maybe. but yes thank yu thank yu i wonder who paid for the cake haha and i v angry we never finished it. and haii i can't help but recall that ken chu has the same birthday as me. -.-
i think i need like a whole character and behavioural overhaul and i need to start being serious about my life. sadly, i'm still dwelling over s papers. but well 50% of the shit is gone.
"1) S papers are useful in applying for scholarships. They show you are able to handle above what they teach at the A levels and also to show that you have a healthy interest in the subject. More importantly, A level grades should not suffer. In fact, S papers will help in A level subjects because they teach above and beyond. So if you have S papers and do well, it shows that you have an interest in the subject and also know more. Taking part in competitions i.e. medical quiz, econs quiz will also help in that area. i.e. I took NEFMQ national level quiz at JC to supplement Econs.
Also, you have to sell yourself. It's just hardsell.
2) Mainly to do S papers you need a good grounding in that A level subject before even building beyond that. No point learning to run before learning to walk. So I guess the school uses the Promo results to gauge a student's ability in that subject before taking S papers. Appeals are definitely okay, but I'm afraid that Ying may not even understand what goes on in the S paper classes if she does not read above and beyond a certain subject already. It's a lot of self study and pretty much interest."
i dun even noe why i'm studying. i seriously haf no major interest in anything. what the hell is wrong la.
i guess when you really really put everything into God's hands ur burden is lifted.
somehow i can't really truly do that.
maybe my dad is right i just want to follow my brother like how i've always tagged along?
but i guess not, seriously. the problem is my whole mindset. i'm too used to getting second chances and not working hard to get things i want.
i think i'll be not so happy for a while now? yah.
